On Tuesday October 16, at the library's second
Faculty Pub Night of the semester, Professor Christopher Kaczor will be discussing his work,
The Ethics of Abortion: Women's Rights, Human Life, and the Question of Justice, which has received high praise from peer reviewers for its judicious representation of the differing positions taken on a complex and often contentious topic.
Since earning his doctorate from the University of Notre Dame in 1996, Dr. Kaczor has established a prolific record of academic achievement, publishing in numerous edited academic volumes and journals. He has been interviewed on issues of ethics, philosophy, and religion for newspapers and radio stations across the country as well as on television on ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, MSNBC, as well as The Today Show.
Professor Kaczor teaches courses on critical thinking and logic, Thomas Aquinas, ethics, and philosophy of law at LMU.
